Supported with live updating

Most document-based Cocoa applications using standard file formats and/or supporting Spotlight, e.g.

• TextEdit
• Preview
• iWork
• Xcode
• AppleScript Editor
• …

In addition, DEVONsphere Express uses AppleScript, Accessibility, or direct connections to support the following apps:

• Finder
• Apple Mail
• Safari and other scriptable browsers, e.g. Google Chrome, OmniWeb, Camino, Opera, Shiira, or DEVONagent Pro
• AddressBook
• iTunes
• Microsoft Office
• DEVONthink Pro (Office) 2.x or later

Limited support, which will be extended in the forthcoming releases, is also available for:

• iChat
• Messages
• Twitter
• Other scriptable email clients

Not supported in this version are all applications neither supporting Accessibility nor AppleScript, e.g. probably many Carbon applications.

Supported file formats

Besides the data from the apps mentioned above DEVONsphere Express supports also the following file formats for indexing and previewing:

• Adium
• Mailsmith
• Markdown
• Mellel
• Microsoft Entourage
• OmniOutliner 3
• Postbox
• PowerMail
• Textile

In addition most document-based applications using standard file formats or supporting Spotlight are supported.
